Day 4
We started today with breakfast together and then split up to sit at coffee shops around the UWS. There are lots of coffee shops to choose from all across the neighborhood and lots of locals frequent them to get their regular or sit and get work done. This gave us great opportunity to engage in conversations to just get to know people. A couple teams sat and had bible study together and folks leaned in to hear what was being said.
The afternoon was more trash pickup a long the streets of the neighborhood. More good interactions were happening as people are interested in why we're doing that as we wear our green vest with "Neighborhood Church UWS" on the back side. Lots of thank yous as well.
We have a couple team members that are not feeling great. It's cold and windy here most days, plus living in close proximity with each other is taking a small toll. We will push through it, but could use some extras prayers for team health.
