What is a sunday like?
Whether you’ve been to a church before or never in your life, visiting a new place can be intimidating.
First Baptist Church of Tecumseh is full of the friendliest people you'll ever meet! We are a casual, "come as you are" church. Most people wear jeans and a t-shirt. Just come and be you.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team.
(They're really friendly people that want to get to know you.)
We begin our Sundays with Family Worship together in the Worship Center. We then dismiss to our Grow Groups, there is one for everybody!
A typical service will last about 75 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. The message is always straight out of the Bible.
There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

What is FBC Tecumseh all about?
We have a church culture that is unique to the purpose God has given us here at FBC Tecumseh. Our purpose is to Follow Jesus & Make Disciples.
Simple is the key. Jesus never overcomplicated it, so neither do we. Everything we do here is to be sure we are following Jesus' leadership and fulfilling the Great Commission of making disciples.
Disciple-making is the DNA of our church family. We are not sitters but servers, not consumers but continuers. Jesus never intended for his followers to sit and consume, but to serve and continue his mission. To accomplish our purpose we have a clear process, Connect, Grow, Serve.
Connecting with Jesus & His church is vital for every Jesus Followers.
Growing in knowledge & obedience is essential for maturity. This is why we highly encourage you to take part in our Grow Groups that take place after Sunday morning worship and throughout the week.
Serving in ministry and missions continues the mission Jesus began.

How do I get to FBC TEcumseh?
We are located at 301 S. Broadway, Tecumseh, OK 74873
There are visitor parking spots on the westside (Broadway side) on the Worship Center and double doors you can enter. They are clearly marked with large stickers over the and on the sides of the doors.
You may also park in our large parking lot on the east side. You will walk between the large brick building on your right (that's our youth building) & small building on the left (that's our cafe) and enter the main building through any door the single door straight ahead of you.

Absolutley! We're excited to walk you through how God is working in our church & family. You can always speak with any of our leadership. The best way to get to know us better is by attending our Starting Points class.
Every two months we have our Starting Points class that helps you understand our purpose and process even better. Pastor Clint covers our church doctrine, Southern Baptist & church history, and what is means to be a church member (don't worry you aren't required to join after this class, but it is a prerequisite.) It's also an opportunity to meet our staff and deacons.
